Castor oil, an asset for beauty, an ally for health
While across the Atlantic, castor oil is recognized and used for its
numerous therapeutic benefits, in France and Europe, it remains
confined to the realm of beauty. There are a significant number
of books in English highlighting its characteristics and uses
for health. However, few of these have been translated, or were translated a very long time ago,
making them inaccessible today.
In France, everyone knows castor oil, but more for its
"beauty" effects than for its "holistic health" benefits. Yet, it is a
very old remedy with multiple virtues that is now essential
to have at home for many reasons. By learning how to use this oil,
you become an active participant in your health and responsible for your personal development.
Without going into a purely technical and scientific description, you
will find in this book the essential information you need to know to
understand the specifics of this oil's composition, as well as the
reference scientific studies.
I begin by presenting the wide range of applications for beauty, because
beyond beautiful hair and nails, castor oil is fabulous
for the skin.
Next, I present the various uses for health, in topical application:
massage, poultice, wrap, with advice, precautions
for use and storage. This chapter is followed by approximately 70 applications
for specific health problems, to which I add essential oil synergies
to enhance healing.
Finally, I present its internal use for purging:
precautions for use, practical advice, benefits, results, and frequency.
In addition to acting on the physical body, castor oil acts on the vibrational body of cells, thus releasing them from certain negative memories.
It is a product that acts holistically. Edgar Cayce, the American spiritualist, also known as the "sleeping prophet," affirms that this oil can have a vibrational-spiritual effect. Indeed, according to Cayce, consciousness, the quality of the mind, exists in the tissues, in the cells, in the very organs of the body.
Thus, while the liver is the organ that tends to store the energy of anger, poultices placed on it reset the emotional state, allowing us to return to our essence.
